Resonating with SOFI cosmetic's philosophy that puts in focus fully
exposed natural ingredients, the space is built around a few raw and
distinctive elements aiming to create serene, spa like experience.
Beyond pleasant atmosphere, the setting is meant to put in focus and exhibit products as handmade crafts. The accent is on intertwining and exposing crudeness and delicacy embodied in the process of making natural cosmetics.
As soft curtains cascade down the store’s perimeter they meet rough face of scattered marble plinths. Free, natural forms of stone and textile stand in counterpoint to clean, precise geometry of furniture, creating entwined relationship of mutual support. Where stones show clean sharp cuts, precisely made furniture appears rested on rocky fragments, highlighting the subtle tension between organic and geometric (forms).
Overlapped and entirely exposed to the sun, all elements are put in slow motion and interplay of light and shadow throughout the day, as a never-ending meditation.
