CLUB 100
Former customs office on Sava river was
transformed into a high-end nightclub ‘100’, breaking ties with its historical
and physical context, offering a time and space dislocation instead.
Architectural and design intention was to create an illusion of space with no clear, defined boundaries or strongholds, taken over by light, greenery and reflections. Old arches, still visible only as a blurred contour of light (trace and memory), host greenery trying to take over the space. Positioned behind the glass, illuminated greenery creates a backdrop for interplay of movements, shadows and shiny details.
Heedfully positioned mirrors, brass and glass add to the effect and in an endless game of reflections, the space comes to life.
